This week we have an exciting episode of Ten on One with Maria Luna, the fabulous Co-Founder of Famigo, a mobile app for artists and creators. She riffs on starting a business, being a female founder, and how her mother helped drive her to succeed.
It’s a conversation worth 10 minutes of your time, but here are three things that stuck out to me:
1. Only .004-2% of funding goes to female founders – they are very under served.
2. You have to prepare to pivot.
3. 60% of time at the beginning was listening to the customers. Now her time is spent still listening to the customers, along with creating team vision, and partnerships (more with groups today).
