When did you know that Graphic Design was your unique ability? Have you always loved it?

All throughout school both Art and Design Technology were my favorite subjects. When I learned that these fields could translate into graphic design and a career, I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

When I was around 10 years old, I had a typography book filled with hundreds of different fonts. I used to spend my days tracing the type and experimenting with different layouts. My love for design has only grown since then.

What is the best part about being a designer?

For me, seeing the work in the real world is truly exciting. With Coppola-Cheney we’ve worked on branding for several buildings – seeing that work translate to actual signage on a building or on monument signage is so rewarding.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Lately, I’ve been training for a half marathon, so plenty of running as the date gets closer. Next, I’m sure will be a full marathon!

Otherwise, nothing beats spending time with family on the weekends or going to a good movie with friends – I love trying to watch every Oscar film before the Academy Awards!

Where is your favorite country you have visited?

I absolutely loved Japan. Something so peaceful and unique about that country. I cannot wait to get back there again someday.
